Peach Blueberry Tart - Recipe

The peach blueberry tart I made yesterday, when my house was way too quiet, received rave reviews from my neighbors and my husband, so it's worth sharing the recipe.  I have to be honest here, I didn't do a lot of research or testing to find a good recipe.  It was a spur-of-the-moment decision to make a tart (I even had to borrow vanilla from a neighbor) and I chose the recipe because it had the prettiest picture on Google.  My research is quiet scientific you see.

I'm always good with substituting certain ingredients for slightly healtheir ones.  In this recipe you can use whole wheat pastry flour or white whole wheat flour instead of regular white flour, and plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

My peaches came from the farmers market last weekend and the blueberries I picked at a local farm a few weeks ago and froze.  When you pick or buy your produce locally it taste so much better than what you get in the store!  I urge you to try it.

This is a very easy treat to make.  And fast.  And refreshing.  So go bake...and share with your neighbors.  They'll love you for it. And if you don't know any neighbors introduce yourself with a tart.
